Overview NB Power supplies electricity to the population of New Brunswick. As an employer, performer, investor and taxpayer, it plays a key role in the province’s economic activity. It employs some 2,500 persons, including almost 100 employees at the Dalhousie generating station. The Challenge NB Power was looking for infrastructures and services capable of facilitating shipment of raw material to its generating station, located near the port facilities.

Overview Abitibi - Bowater is a leader in the sector of the fabrication of coated paper, special-use papers and newsprint. The business has twelve pulp and paper plants in the United States, Canada and South Korea and employs around 7,000 people. The Dalhousie plant employs over 500 persons and is a major employer in the northern part of the province. The Challenge To meet its needs, Bowater Maritime was looking for long-term storage space near its plant. An important partnership between it and the port authorities was concluded.
