First Ship of the Year
The Port of Dalhousie welcome its first ship of 2009 the MT Ice Blizzard on January 8, 2009 at 13:00 hours The Ice Blizzard was welcomed by some members of the Board of directors of the Port of Dalhousie Inc. Vice Chairman Christopher Winchester and Treasurer Rheal Savoie presented a wood carving by local Dalhousie artist Derek Letourneau for opening a new year of navigation at the Port of Dalhousie by bringing in the first ocean-going vessel of 2009 to Captain Jurijs Koadatko.
